Twin Heart is all about...
Cardiovascular diseases are the number one killer in the world, with heart failure affecting more than 64 million. Only in the U.S., the cost of HF is estimated to exceed $70 billion by the end of the decade.
Collaborating with some of the most brilliant minds in the field, we have designed and developed a game-changing artificial heart that is simple, durable, and minimally invasive, significantly reducing hospital costs by 90% compared to current technologies.
Achievements, including a summa cum laude PhD awarded by the European Society of Artificial Organs, two patents, over 20 undisclosed inventions, and awards such as The Most Advanced Design at the World HeartHackathon in Dallas, USA 2023, Medical Innovation of the Year 2023, and Excellence in Research 2024 in Bucharest, attest our founder commitment and progress.
But TwinHeart is not the work of one person alone. Behind this innovation stands a diverse, multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, engineers, scientists, and business professionals, all united by the same mission: to transform cardiovascular care. From early-stage research to clinical insights, from hardware design to data science, our team combines expertise from across the globe. Each member brings unique experience, cultural perspective, and passion, creating an environment where groundbreaking ideas take shape and become reality.
Together, we are building more than a medical device—we are building a future where heart failure no longer defines or limits lives. With this collective strength, we aim that in five years the device will be on the market and in ten years, TwinHeart will become a global leader in cardiovascular care, valued at $200 billion, generating an annual revenue of over $25 billion, saving more than 1 million lives each year, and transforming countless destinies.
